We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior IT Support Officer who will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT ecosystem across the school campus, ensuring secure, reliable, scalable, and innovative technology operations that support teaching, learning, safeguarding, administration, and smart campus infrastructure.

Role Overview: 

The successful candidate will lead IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, service delivery, strategic planning, vendor management, and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

This role is suited to an individual with strong leadership, technical depth, operational maturity, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, or Systems Administration.
  • Experience managing enterprise IT environments.
 
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. 
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, MFA, endpoint security, access control, and compliance.
  • Experience managing servers, virtualization, storage systems, and backups
  • Familiarity with Windows environments, as well as basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS). 
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Infrastructure:
  • Oversee daily IT operations across the campus. 
  • Maintain network, server, Wi-Fi, and internet infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability.
  • Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems.
  • Oversee, maintain, and manage the CCTV systems and operations within the premises, ensuring optimal functionality and continuous coverage.
 
2. Cybersecurity & Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and standards.
  • Manage MFA, endpoint protection, and access control systems. 
  • Monitor systems for threats and unusual activities.
 
3. Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services:
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and account management.
  • Manage licensing, permissions, and compliance policies.
  • Support cloud-based collaboration and productivity systems.

4. IT Support & Service Delivery:
  • Lead and supervise the IT support team.
  • Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and incidents.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service delivery.
  • Coordinate escalations with vendors and third-party providers.
 
5. Vendor & Project Management:
  • Manage IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Coordinate procurement of IT hardware and software.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades and deployment projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and implementation plans.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies where appropriate.
     
6. Hardware & Software Management:
  • Collaborate on IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, or the rollout of new applications. 
  • Provide support in testing and deploying new technology solutions.
